The “autumnal equinox” is next week, but in my house it is FALL! This is my favorite season and my mantle is decorated with fall foliage and pumpkins. I enjoyed my first pumpkin spice latte of the season yesterday (and no, I don’t want to know the ingredients or how bad it is for me).
Sunday night, when we arrived home from a trip, I stepped out into the crisp, cool air and decided it was time for some Skinnytaste Chicken Pot Pie soup. Since my husband doesn’t think it is quite cold enough for soup, I waited until his camping trip to make this creamy deliciousness. I usually serve it with these biscuits. Enjoy!
For those of you who knew me back in my “ramen-noodles-or-frozen-dinners” phase… be amazed. I may not be Julia Child, but I’ve come a looooong way.
